A homage to "Join, or Die" by Benjamin Franklin 1754. 

As The Israelites in the wilderness had to look upon a bronze snake to be saved from the punishment God sent them, requiring an act of faith, so must we all look upon The LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
